About Nonviolent Communication

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a communication process developed by Marshall Rosenberg. It focuses on three aspects of communication: self-empathy, empathy for others, and honest self-expression.

The Four Components of NVC

  1. Observations:

State the concrete actions we observe that affect our well-being

  2. Feelings:

Identify and express how we feel in relation to what we observe

  3. Needs:

Recognize the needs, values, and desires that create our feelings

  4. Requests:

Make concrete requests for actions that will enrich our lives

How NVCme Helps

NVCme helps you transform your communication by analyzing your text and suggesting ways to express yourself using NVC principles. It helps identify judgments, interpretations, and demands, replacing them with observations, feelings, needs, and requests.
